The first thing we did in the morning was looking for a bakery. After getting a bread we tried to hitchhike out of Calais. It was really difficult. After beeing unlucky for three hours, we started to walk along the railways towards the motorway. Finally a young french guy gave us a lift onto the motorway and left us with 2,20 Euros.
The next fuel station was 20 kilometres away. After a while we decided to walk there on the outside of the motorway. One hour later the police car stopped us and told us, it is forbidden to do that. We explained our situation and then they took us to the next service station and wished us luck. A couple from London then took us all the way to Reims. We decided to settle down there and started to cook some pasta on the gaz-cooker. It felt great to eat something else than bread after such a long time.We put up our tent behind the station and went to sleep!
